Events Forum Programme

Regent's College Events Forum will host a range of inspiring presentations, talks, workshops and debates followed by exciting site visits and leisure activities.

The Hilton London Metropole hotel will host the Forum's Gala Dinner, with auctions, prize raffles, music and entertainment to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, the Forum's charity of the year.

Overview of Events

Day 1 (Thursday 16 September)

On day 1 (Thursday), the internationally renowned speaker Deborah McCoy will be talking about the DO's and DONT's when organising one of the most important events in society - weddings. 

This keynote presentation will be followed by workshops with renowned national and international event management professionals from Outsourced Events, Macmillan Cancer Support, Terbell's Adam Proto, and a cooking demonstration by Brazilian Chef Prof. Carlos Ribeiro. Site visits for the day include Craven Cottage - home of Fulham Football Club, the London Eye, Namco Station, and St Paul's Cathedral.

Day 2 (Friday 17 September)

On day 2 (Friday), one of the UK's leading industry experts, Zanine Adams of Visit London, will be sharing her experiences of promoting London as a conference and events destination.

The second keynote session of the day is from Andrew Mallery, Commercial Operations Director for Mercedes-Benz UK, who will be describing recent events held by the company, and their commercial role and importance.

A sustainability debate with leading UK events professionals and academics is included on Friday afternoon, together with talks from ESP Recruitment, Ziad Raphael Nassar, and Paul Cook from MPI. Site visits to Altitude 360 London, Craven Cottage (Fulham FC), the London Eye, the Natural History Museum's Conference Centre, and St Paul's Cathedral precede the Forum's Gala Dinner on Friday evening. Day 3 (Saturday 18 September)

The day starts with the internationally renowned Nicolo di San Germano discussing his leading role at the world famous Powerboat Racing Championship (F1H2O). The final session of the Forum will be a Question and Answer session on life in the events industry with a selection of highly experienced industry speakers.
