Work Experience

We believe that by combining academic and practical development, you will realise your full potential as an EBSL student.

All students on the BA (Hons) degrees are required to complete a minimum of 30 weeks of work experience during their summer and winter vacations. Internships can be carried out all over the world, and in more than one language.

Your employability is important to us, and our unique Career Planner programme will help you develop your personal career strategy and equip you with the skills you need to succeed. The Careers and Business Relations centre is on hand to assist you throughout the whole process.

Working in real business situations before you graduate means that you are able to explore career options, test your knowledge, and learn the cultural conventions and sensitivities unique to each country's business practices.

It allows you to develop your linguistic skills in a real-life context, while building a valuable network of contacts in a number of key organisations within your target career markets.

Our graduates enter the employment market with a proven track record of commitment and achievement in their work placements, and a sound knowledge of how to put their skills to practical use.

In many cases they have so impressed their host companies during the internships, that they already have several job offers prior to graduation.

The pace is demanding and the challenges are real, but the rewards in terms of personal fulfilment and career opportunities are substantial. EBSL graduates are in demand and graduate employment is consistently high.

" RBS London is a different sort of Business School. Small classes, excellent staff and a truly international atmosphere make for an impressive postgraduate experience. The small groups encouraged interactive learning and the chance to build friendly relationships with tutors and other students. The staff have a positive commitment to helping students and preparing us for the corporate arena through our academic work and skills lessons."
