David Horton

Head of Business and Postgraduate Development, BSc (Economics, London), DMS (Portsmouth), ILTM.

David’s early career began in vocational education and then developed into training activities working with CJB, IBM, Marconi and Local Authorities on management training activities in the area of team and group dynamics.

David then joined a small business as co-director dealing with micro and small business start-up, early stage and growth programmes, including East European businesses and a visit to Kazakhstan to teach on MBA specialist Entrepreneurial modules.

David set up his own business working with small businesses in East London, and then lectured at EBSL. He started undergraduate Business Planning modules and designed the current MA programme. Is a member of the Institute of Lecturers and Teachers in Higher Education.
