Business Foundation Course Requirements

To enter the Business Foundation Course at EBS London, students should have the following:

Academic Requirements

Five GCSE/IGCSE subjects or equivalent with grades A-C, including Maths and English
US High School Diploma
HAVO
Six WAECs with grades A-C (1-6)
Realschulabschluß
Apolytirion of Gymnasio
Attestat
Bachillerato

Or other international qualifications equivalent to the British General Certificates of Secondary Education (GCSEs), as recommended by the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC).

English Language Requirements*

For those applicants whose mother tongue is not English, we require a recent pass in any of the following qualifications:

IELTS (minimum 5.5)
TOEFL (74 points in the internet-based test, 203 in the computer-based version, or 535 in the paper-based test). The TOEFL code for EBS London is 2487.
Cambridge Advanced English Certificate (grades A-C)
Certificate of Proficiency in English (grades A-C)
GCSE/IGCSE English Grade C or above
Grade 5 in the IB English HL
English C of the Avgangsbetyg with a VG or MVG
English grade 5 or 6 in the Vitnemål
75% overall in all English components of the European Baccalaureate
EIKEN English test - Grade Pre 1

* This requirement may be waived if the last three years of the student's education were in English
